"...Frances Roberts was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Although she loved the people and her Green Bay Packers, she relocated to the Gulf Coast to enjoy six months of summer and NO winter. She currently teaches middle school Compensatory Language Arts in Pascagoula, MS, and truly enjoys a challenge. The first book is "31 Prayers for the Addict I Love" written after the untimely death of two addicted loved ones. The second is "31 Prayers for When Life Isn't Fair". Roberts' first fiction novel, "A Place Called Grace," is a Christian Romance/Murder Mystery. The sequel-- "A Place Without Mercy" will be available in early December, 2016. She has also published several poems and short stories, and loves to read as much as write. She lives in Pascagoula with her husband, two children, three dogs and a cat. MEET AUTHOR
S.M. MCELLIGOT

S.M. McElligott grew up on Long Island where she lived in no less than eleven different towns before marrying an Irishman from Brooklyn and moving yet again to the Midwest. In the midst of it all, while her husband traveled for business she raised four children, served on a school board, pursued various graduate studies and held a variety of interesting jobs. Always an avid reader, she decided to pursue a lifelong goal to write when her youngest son graduated from college. Because biblical and archaeological studies have always held a special fascination, she naturally gravitated to writing biblical fiction. Now retired and a grandmother of five, she loves her adopted state of TN, where she writes, golfs, kayaks, plays bridge, and stays active in her local parish. She holds a B.A. in History from St. Bonaventure University, and is a member of the Catholic Writer’s Guild and the Author’s Guild of Tennessee. The Gifts of Man is her first novel.

<![CDATA[Meet Author Cheryl Peyton]]>Fri, 16 Sep 2016 22:02:48 GMThttp://carternovels.com/carters-blog/meet-author-cheryl-peytonPicture
NEW AUTHOR at INDIE BOOK SOURCE
----- Meet Author Cheryl Peyton -----
".....Cheryl was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, living in various suburbs with her parents and older brother. As the daughter of a book editor and writer, when she was read to at bedtime it would be from a manuscript, and her mother would ask questions like, “Are these characters believable? Are you interested in the story? Can you picture where the action is taking place?” The experience gave Ms. Pe...yton an appreciation for the art of crafting a good story, even as she helped her mother with her work.
After moving to Tennessee several years ago, Ms. Peyton became interested in nearby Oak Ridge, having read about the town’s connection with the Manhattan Project in high school. Getting to know one of the couriers transporting nuclear weapons, she was inspired to write her first book that was a thriller about the threat of nuclear weapons, should they fall the wrong hands.
As a storyteller, Ms. Peyton still ponders those same questions her mother asked her many years ago to help her create exciting tales, told through memorable characters, who move through a fully-imagined world of their own.
Ms. Peyton lives in Loudon, Tennessee, with her husband Jim, and their dog, Cody......" Connect & check out Cheryl's work at:

<![CDATA[MEET AUTHOR JIM YACKEL]]>Wed, 07 Sep 2016 11:37:27 GMThttp://carternovels.com/carters-blog/meet-author-jim-yackelJim Yackel is an author of "edgy" Christian-Fiction and a singer/songwriter/recording artist. A revised edition of the three-part End of Days novel The Wayfarers will be released in the autumn of 2016. Remembering Will, released in May of 2015, is a departure from his usual subject matter. This touching and emotional tale centers around a musician who is dealing with loss and addiction, while battling persistent supernatural torment. Eyes Pried Open, released in October 2014, is the sequel to the End-Times suspense/thriller The Sleepwalkers released earlier that year. The intriguing Dead-Ringer, released in April of 2013, centers around an Elvis impersonator with gifts of the Holy Spirit that might be considered unusual.
