Meet Author Jack Dillon

Have you ever looked at someone and thought, “How on Earth did they get away with that, it’s just so wrong?” and then hope that they get caught or that karma kicks their butt, well there’s a strong vein of that running through the Dillon books. His characters are the ones dealing out the karma when society’s rules are flaunted and justice is not seen to be done. Jack’s love of storytelling started from a very early age, basically as soon as he learned to read. He experimented with drawing to tell a story using stick figures at first then progressing on as his skill improved. It wasn’t long before he realised you could tell a story faster by writing it. His love of reading drew him to stories of high adventure written by the likes of Robert Ludlum, Alistair Maclean and of course, Ian Fleming. As life sped up so did his taste in literature moving on to the likes of Matthew Reilly and James Rollins who pepper their novels with high adrenalin action. This inspired him to create his own books. The Death List is the first of many to come in the SI6 series and out soon is The Satan Strain, another series featuring ATLAS Force, (Advanced Threat, Locate And Secure). Meet Author Jan Domagala
I was born in Staffordshire to a working class family, my father worked down the local mines whilst my mother worked in one of the local Pottery manufacturing factories. At school I discovered the joys of reading. I was a big fan of sci fi books but I would read almost anything I could get my hands on. My mother took me to join the local library as soon as I could read and from that day on, if it had words on it, I’d read it. I wasn’t particularly brilliant at anything at school. I tried my hardest to be average while I held a deep desire to be a comic book illustrator. I even wrote and drew my own comics as I tried to hone a meagre skill. Back then though there were no courses to learn this skill and my careers advisor tried to push me into; engineering, the pit or the armed forces. In the early 70’s there wasn’t much choice where I lived so I ended up in an apprenticeship in screen printing for the ceramic industry. In the early years of my apprenticeship I had the pleasure of a trip on the schooner Captain Scott, a training ship as part of the crew. We sailed around Scotland and even up as far as Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. As in all jobs, mine has a certain amount of repetition, to relieve that I often lose myself in my mind as I work through a story. I’m still in the same trade after a forty year career but my passion is and has always been writing. After several abortive attempts I started the Col Sec series around seven years ago, It’s an action adventure series set in the twenty fifth century. After a brief four year stint living close to the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District I’ve returned to where I grew up.

Meet Author Timony McKeever
The Monk Murder Mystery Series centers on Father William Yeats Butler, a Franciscan Monk assigned to St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in the Capitol Hill area of Denver. An ex-Police Detective Butler, now a Police Chaplin for the Denver Police Department continues to be drawn into major Investigations.
This is familiar territory for McKeever who spent over thirty years in the Criminal Justice System primarily as an Investigator. McKeever began his Law Enforcement career in 1966 as a Military Policeman serving in Viet Nam from December 1967 to December 1968 encompassing the 1968 Tet Offensive.
Returning to Michigan he joined the Lansing Police Department and worked Patrol in mostly high crime areas. 1973 brought a move to the Lakewood Dept. of Public Safety, Lakewood Colorado. Patrol, Supervisor of a multi-jurisdictional Narcotics Unit, K-9 Handler, District Attorney Investigator continued to expand McKeever's investigative experience.
From1995 until retiring in 2010 McKeever worked as a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Superior Court and then the Public Defender's Office of Yavapai County Arizona. Since he knows the "Streets" from both sides it gives McKeever's writing a realistic insight and realism not often found.
