Bobbie Barker

Bobbie Barker grew up in Islington, London in the 60’s and 70’s and it was a very different place compared to the way it’s known today; it wasn’t all café’s and fine dining back then. And so it is no coincidence that her chosen genre is crime. After years of balancing work and family life, Bobbie is now a full time freelance Crime Writer. Her first book ‘Shade of Justice’ (screenplay) was published in 2014. Most recent is her new novel ‘Field of Glass’.

I was born and raised in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and am a graduate of Rochester High School. I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in English and Fine Arts and attended graduate school at the State University of New York at Binghamton and at Penn State University.

Since 6 years old, I have had a passion for writing, so I naturally pursued a career in journalism and communications. During my work-life, I wrote advertising copy and feature stories for newspapers, and served as media, public relations and employee communications coordinator for non-profit organizations and corporations. As a technical communications specialist in the IT industry, I wrote manuals, specifications, and requirements.

I still found time to write creatively, although not as much as I liked. I authored a book, published a short story, and managed an online discussion group, but, most of my creative writing remained in various stages of completion. When I retired, I returned to those drafts as if they were buried treasure.

I plan to devote the rest of my life to creative writing, and to the stories of people, real and fictional, who touch our imagination and excite our sympathy.

Meet Author Ann Alexandra

Born and raised in Boston, Ann Alexandra has been a long-time resident of Northern Virginia. She loves animals, in general, and dotes on her four cats. She loves music, and all related activities such as dancing and singing. Most importantly, she is passionate about reading. “Growing up, I made weekly visits to the city library. I believe I read, over the years, just about every mystery and romance--as well as many of the classics--on the shelves of what was a rather large public library!” she explained. “My mother introduced me to the joys of reading--she would tell me how, growing up during the height of the Depression, she could explore the world and embark on all kinds of adventures---just by opening a book!” Ms. Alexandra dedicated her first novel, Secret Lives, to her Mother, ‘In Loving Memory’, whom she describes as her “best friend” for all of her life. Ann Alexandra received her Bachelor’s Degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations. She worked in the Legislative side of government at both the state and federal levels, researching and writing analyses of laws and government programs. Meet Author Angelica Kate
Angelica Kate (pen name for Angela K. Naff) writes contemporary and inspirational romances primarily, but occasionally likes to dabble in other genres. She is a lifetime scribbler who has always enjoyed writing as a release from the reality of life. In 2014 in keeping a promise to a friend that has since passed she published her first book Loving Abby through Amazon's self-publishing tool and was bit by the bug. The feedback both positive and negative continues to propel her to hone her writing chops, and she still reads every review (even those that require a glass of wine to stomach).
In October 2015 Angelica's family relocated from Stillwater, Oklahoma to the beaches of Sarasota, Florida.
